ONLINE CHESS TOURNAMENT
Chesterton Academy of Ottawa will host an international online chess tournament for students in Grades 9 to 12. Tournament starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29. This free three-hour tournament will test your skills, nerve and discipline. Games are 10 minutes each and the tournament will be hosted by lichess.org. To sign up, register as a user at lichess.org and then send an email by Thursday, May 27 to tournament co-ordinator Santiago Pascual-Meagher at santiagojpascualmeagher@gmail.com. Chesterton soccer team wins season opener 8-3
OTTAWA — The Chesterton Academy of Ottawa soccer team dominated in an 8-3 victory over St. Laurent Academy in the season opener at the RA Centre Oct. 6. Joseph Pocrnic scored 4 , Nicholas Pascual-Meagher scored 3 and Alexander Doak scored 1. Fionn Stackbauer was a solid starting goaltender for Chesterton.
