It was a skate-a-thon to remember as students skated the length (7.8 kilometres) of the Ottawa Canal and back again. The frozen canal is the world's longest naturally frozen skating rink.
Grade 10 student Nicholas Pascual-Meagher beat seven opponents to win the Chesterton Spring time Table Tennis championship.
Grade 9 student Edouard Allaire competed in the University of Waterloo math competition and ranked 5th for the Ottawa area.

Chesterton Academy of Ottawa will host an international online chess tournament for students in Grades 9 to 12. Tournament starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29. This free three-hour tournament will test your skills, nerve and discipline. Games are 10 minutes each and the tournament will be hosted by lichess.org. To sign up, register as a user at lichess.org and then send an email by Thursday, May 27 to tournament co-ordinator Santiago Pascual-Meagher at santiagojpascualmeagher@gmail.com.
